Show More Show LessThe Advanced Public Health and Epidemiology track within the K4B program integrates Public Health Officer, Epidemiology and Big Data Analytics, Health Economics and Outcome Research, and Disaster Risk Management and Response to prepare students for leadership roles in public health and epidemiology. This interdisciplinary track equips students with the knowledge and skills to manage public health systems, analyze epidemiological data, conduct health economics research, and coordinate disaster response efforts in health crises. Coursework covers the principles of public health, epidemiological methods using big data, health outcomes research, and strategies for disaster preparedness and risk management. The program emphasizes rigorous quizzing practices, including data analysis projects, scenario-based disaster simulations, and public health policy assessments to ensure comprehensive understanding of epidemiological concepts and health systems management. Upon successful completion, students receive a Specialization Certificate in Advanced Public Health and Epidemiology, accompanied by a detailed Courses Grade Report and a General Grade. Additionally, students are awarded Course-Specific Certificates in areas such as Public Health Management, Epidemiology and Big Data Analytics, Health Economics and Outcomes Research, and Disaster Risk Management.
