Geography and Environmental Studies students undertake courses covering physical geography, human geography, environmental geography, and geographic information systems (GIS). Through fieldwork, spatial analysis, and environmental impact assessments, students develop skills in understanding the Earth's surface, analyzing spatial patterns, and addressing environmental challenges. The curriculum also addresses topics such as urban planning, remote sensing, and geospatial data visualization. With a focus on interdisciplinary approaches and spatial thinking, students are prepared for exams that assess their understanding of geographic principles and their ability to apply GIS technologies in environmental research and planning. Graduates pursue careers as environmental planners, GIS analysts, cartographers, or geographic researchers in governmental agencies, environmental consulting firms, or research institutions.
