Midwifery students explore courses covering prenatal care, childbirth, postpartum care, and neonatal health. Through clinical placements, birthing center rotations, and community outreach, students develop skills in supporting women through pregnancy and childbirth, promoting maternal health, and providing newborn care. The curriculum also addresses topics such as lactation support, reproductive health education, and cultural competence in midwifery practice. With a focus on hands-on experience and evidence-based practice, students are prepared for certification exams such as the Certified Nurse-Midwife (CNM) or Certified Midwife (CM). Graduates pursue careers as midwives in hospitals, birthing centers, clinics, or home birth practices.
